HollywoodNews.com: Taylor Swift is sticking with her roots and has donated money to Hendersonville, Tennessee after the floods which will now go toward building a new playground for the children.
The donation was originally allotted to help those who were impacted by the disaster, but now the $100,000 will help recreate a bit of the community that was harmed, reports Digital Spy. The town is very touched by Swift’s donation and didn’t expect that much.
Swift and other stars stepped up for Tennessee after the area was hit hard by floods. The play area is now expected to be rebuilt by 2011 and will likely cost around $175,000.
