“Modern Family” grabs the first Emmy of the night
HollywoodNews.com: As the Primetime Emmys kicked off with a musical number, one of the shows that helped kick off the awards part of the night was “Modern Family.”
The show’s very own Eric Stonestreet jump-started the night winning the evening’s first award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. His award was then followed up by co-creator Steve Levitan winning for Best Comedy Writing. It will be interesting to see if the show can hold off “Glee,” 30 Rock,” and “The Office” to take home Best Comedy Series later tonight.
