‘Housewives of New Jersey’ want ‘Jersey Shore’ pay

HollywoodNews.com: The Real Housewives of New Jersey are reportedly holding out from shooting the next season of the Bravo reality show unless their paychecks go up quite a bit.

Season 3 is scheduled to begin shooting September 3rd, but the women – and allegedly mainly Teresa Giudice who is in financial trouble – want new contracts that will give them a cut in DVD sales, the ability to make more paid appearances and twice as much in salary, reports TMZ. Reportedly, if the women do not get the money they want, they will walk away from the show.

Teresa and the others allegedly feel that they should be making closer to what the Jersey Shore cast is pulling in which is reportedly $30,000 an episode.

No they shouldn’t. That show is rubbish, Jersey shore is 100 x more successful… They could replace that cast by next week with new spoiled wives no problem…. The jersey shore cast was perfectly casted, thats why they command the money and success that is rightfully owed to them. Why is real world such a has been boring yesterdays news show? They never had the casting right, this is the same premise with the perfect cast. And three seasons of it at that! Probably more to come.

Real housewives is rubbish I repeat!!!

I wish they WOULD just RECAST the whole thing, as it is, Having three of them related just makes it too boring… I wanna see a better mix of NJ cheesey Housewives

Well, it seems that they have already cast Melissa Gorga on the show. There was rumors that Kim G and Kim D would be joining the show as regulars, but that isn’t true…instead they may or may not appear as a guest. Caroline said she would love to come back and Teresa just said she needs a little time off from the show because she is working on another book and she is dealing with some personal issues. Jaqueline also said she wants to spend more time with her family. They all told Bravo that they would not return unless Danielle was out, now that she is that is one burden that is gone. While Danielle did add something interesting to the mix, it was weird having her there because they just hated her from the get-go as she was never apart of that clan. Dina was asked to return now that Staub was gone, but she said no because she was always considering to leave the show and that the drama with Danielle just instigated her to do so.

NO, NO, I don’t think that they should demand more money. They are not Actors! Sorry, but they are not they are just there to do a reality show about Rich Housewives with either nothing to do all day, or has everything to do and then some, that is what it is about. Just to show us how the rich housewives of (OC, NY, NJ, ATL, DC, and now Beverly Hills) live and how they spend their money, have their charities, go out with their kids, and their husbands if any. That’s all, so there is no need for them to get a raise, remember they are Rich Housewives, they already have money again this is only a reality show, they are not actors so what gives them the right to ask for more money when they should just be grateful that they are even getting something at all. But then again, they are rich spoiled nasty housewives.
