Man Avoids Jail Time After Pleading Guilty in Emma Watson Photo Case
HollywoodNews.com: A British man has escaped jail time after pleading guilty to uploading fake nude images of Harry Potter actress Emma Watson onto the internet earlier this year.
John Cavanagh was given a three year community order with three years supervision, ordered to sign a sex offender registry and complete a sex-offender program, banned from trying to contact Watson for five years, and banned from internet use – except in cases of searching for employment – after he plead guilty to 19 counts of making an indecent image of a child. The charges stemmed from Cavanagh altering photos of Watson by placing her head on the image of a nude female and uploading the images onto the internet. It was reported that Cavanaugh had over 2000 images of the actress on his computer; there were also images of other young girls, which were all found while he was in the process of being evicted.
