Jon Hamm and his girlfriend looking to raise ‘Kids’
HollywoodNews.com: Burgeoning feature film leading man Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt are looking to fast track her script “Friends With Kids.”
Empire Online describes the plot as an exploration of how couples’ friendships change once they have children. Apparently, Hamm and Westfeldt are looking to hook Anne Hathaway and “Saturday Night Live’s” Kristen Wiig to join the film.
No financing is in place yet.
Westfeldt is known for playing the lead role in “Kissing Jessica Stein” as well as her onscreen work in “Ira & Abby.”
Hollywood sees Hamm as the next George Clooney. This fall he’ll be appearing in Ben Affleck’s crime drama “The Town” due out on September 17. He’s also headlining Zack Snyder’s “Suckerpunch” due out from Warner Bros. in the spring.
Hamm also loves to dabble in comedy. It’s not unusual for him to break outside his understated straight guy roles to play the fool: During the Emmy intro, he took dance tips from Betty White. Also, he’s revered by fans for his turn as Lex Luther in the Funny or Die short “Lex Luther Bailout.”
