Kristen Stewart’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ birth will be as “intense” as book version

HollywoodNews.com: Actress Kristen Stewart’s birth scene in the new ‘Twilight’ film will not be toned down.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon are going to try and stick closely to the book for Kristen’s character Bella’s childbirth scene for the movie version of Breaking Dawn.

Although the gruesome scene might not necessarily be a huge gore-fest. Melissa told E!Online: “We’re working on it and we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.”

And Rosenberg and Condon also want to portray the emotional intensity of the scene. She said: “I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show. It’s on their faces, it’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going on.”

Melissa added: “It should feel visceral, I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”
