Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband wants to preserve her body when she passes away
HollywoodNews.com: Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband wants to plastinate his wife’s body when she dies.
The German husband of the ill actress has said he wants to preserve her body by plastination after she dies. The 93-year-old’s husband Frederic von Anhalt told German newspaper Bild: “My wife has always dreamt that her beauty would be immortal. “I would like to show the plastinated body of Zsa Zsa Gabor in the context of a scene in one of her films.”
Frederic added that he would like German anatomist Gunther von Hagens to perform the procedure on his Hungarian-American wife after his world exhibitions showed plastinated bodies with just muscles and tendons still intact.
Zsa Zsa has been in hospital several times over the past few months and returned to a Los Angeles hospital this week after von Anhalt had found her unconscious.
The actress has appeared in several films and television shows over her time including Moulin Rouge in 1952.
