Montana Fishburne comes clean on adult movie, mulls better offers

HollywoodNews.com: Montana Fishburne has no regrets about her self-titled nudie DVD from Vivid Entertainment. In a recent interview, she unloads how the dicey move has resulted in television, book and ringtone offers – much to the chagrin of her father, Oscar-nominated thesp Laurence Fishburne.

Fishburne has blatantly expressed that her influence for churning out an adult film came from Kim Kardashian and how it propelled her career. Seeing this, Fishburne took a meeting with Vivid founder and chairman Steve Hirsch.

“Even though she (Kim) got all that negative attention for it, she still has all these other ventures going on now. That is what I want to emulate: having a tape come out and still being seen as a positive person. Not just, ‘She’s a porn star,’” says Fishburne.

Though she’s mulling other adult roles from Vivid, the newfound actress says “I’m actually getting a lot of mainstream offers. I want to pursue those opportunities and then come back to it.”

Fishburne was apparently paid $250,000 to star in the Vivid film.

The porn film has cost Fishburne a relationship with her highly respected father. Associates of his have tried to purchase all of the DVDs, sidelining its release.

As far as coming to terms with the “Matrix” actor: “Until he respects me and accepts me for who I am, I don’t think we will have much of a relationship,” says Fishburne.

At the end of her Hollywood Reporter interview, Fishburne expounds on her upbringing:

“It was traditionally unconventional. I’ve had divorced parents since I was 2, and my dad was a really famous actor, so it was as conventional as it could be. We had the best of the best: private schools, traveling all over the world. I’ve had a happy life.”
