Paris Hilton’s controversial Chanel purse returned to actress

HollywoodNews.com: Paris Hilton has become quite the buzz these days since her arrest for cocaine possession in Las Vegas where she claimed that the purse carrying it was borrowed from a friend and not hers.

However, months earlier she tweeted a photo of her new Chanel purse that is identical to the one that she was carrying on the night of her arrest. Now details have surface that reveal that the police gave the purse back to Hilton rather than booking it into evidence, reports Radar Online. The official police report for the night states, “She told me the purse was not hers,” but now it seems as if maybe it was hers.

A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said, “We can care less about the purse. It was not booked into evidence. We gave the purse back and took the cocaine.” It looks like the police may have given away the very piece of evidence that they may need in the future.
