Jenna Fischer on Pam’s new job and baby on ‘The Office’

HollywoodNews.com: Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is leaving “The Office” by the end of next season, but he’s not the only character seeking change. “Pam gets a new job this year,” reveals Jenna Fischer. “She ends up sort of taking a new position in the office. I don’t want to give away too much. Some of that revolves around her desire to be a little bit more available to her family and also have an easier job. So she manages to finagle a new position at work.”

The newest member of the Halpert family, baby Cecilia, will be making plenty appearances of her own. As Fischer reveals, “So far she’s been in three of our first seven episodes. Pretty much any time we get to see baby Cece is great. She was on set today and they got the cutest baby in town to play our baby. It’s actually a set of twin girls.”

In addition to the upcoming seventh season of “The Office”, Fischer stars in February’s “Hall Pass” with Owen Wilson” and is producing husband Lee Kirk’s play “Sad Happy Sucker,” playing at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre through October 10.
