Amy Poehler to host season premiere of SNL
HollywoodNews.com: Amy Poehler has been announced as Saturday Night Live’s host for the September 25 season premiere on NBC, according to Entertainment Weekly. Poehler, in addition to being an SNL veteran, earned a fourth Emmy nom this year for “Parks and Recreation.”
The episode will also feature Katy Perry as its musical guest. After Will Forte’s departure, SNL will additionally be adding four new troupe members this season: Taran Killam (Mad TV and “How I Met Your Mother”), comedians Paul Brittain and Vanessa Bayer, and Jay Pharoah of BET’s “One Mic Stand.”
