Angelina Jolie’s U.N. work helps her kids ‘be better people’
HollywoodNews.com: When it comes to weighty affairs, both personal and global, Angelina Jolie keeps it in the family. Not to mention, it’s important for her kids to know thoroughly about her work as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador.
The star of “Salt” is currently visiting the flood-devastated Pakistan which has impacted 17 million people and left 1,700 dead. She is fundraising for the country.
And when the actress lets go about the pressures of her work, she doesn’t share with friends, rather Jolie says: ‘I’ll talk to my family, I talk to Brad.”
Jolie was recently interviewed by CNN’s Sanjay Gupta about her experiences in the country.
“He (Brad) wants to know as much as he can about these issues and he’s been here as well.”
“I tell my children why I’m going (to Pakistan) and I explain to them why I was packing flashlights and food.
“They help me pack things. It helps them to be better people to understand a little bit about the world.”
