Rihanna: ‘Battleship’ no S.O.S., rather ‘really good’

HollywoodNews.com: Rihanna has her lips sealed when it comes to juicy news from the “Battleship” film set.

The pop singer turned actress was aglow about the production, which she took a break from to appear at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The film is currently shooting in Hawaii and is based on the popular, age-old Hasbro board game.

“It’s really good, really good,” she said. “I’m really enjoying it, actually. I like it,” said Rihanna.

How can you not? You’re filming a Navy action epic at the high seas with hunks Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and babe Brooklyn Decker.

But all MTV News wanted to sink their fangs into was the 411 on “True Blood’s” main baddie vampire Skarsgard.

“He’s really cool, just laid-back. He doesn’t get in the way,” Rihanna said. “[He’s] not very talkative, but he’s a really cool guy and that’s [to] everybody — not just the cast.”

Oh, but there’s something else about Skarsgard: Not his fangs, but…

“He’s super-tall,” exclaimed Rihanna, “I didn’t even know he was that tall!”
