“Gossip Girl’s” cast is the “Hollywood TV Stars of the Week”

HollywoodNews.com: “Gossip Girl” starring Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley, Jessica Szohr, and Taylor Momsen just had the season four premiere last night and they went all out for it, taking the cast to Paris for an unforgettable backdrop.

While the show is sure to capture teens on Monday nights, it has also provided a launch pad for the cast to land some pretty spectacular gigs. Lively will be having a great weekend as her new Ben Affleck film “The Town” opens in theaters this week and showcases a brilliant performance by the actress.

Badgley just made an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards to present a Moonman, and Crawford just starred in Joel Schumacher’s “Twelve” and will be seen in the upcoming film entitled, “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding.” Momsen has been on the Vans Warped Tour all summer with her band “The Pretty Reckless” and Meester has been busy filming roles for “Country Strong,” “The Oranges,” “The Roommate,” and “Monte Carlo.”

With more than a handful of film roles the TV stars are landing, it’s wonder how they find time to film the show that has continued to keep CW on the map for years. Therefore, we are happy to announce the cast of “Gossip Girl” are the “Hollywood TV Stars of the Week.”
