Awards Season Roundup: Boyle, Aronofsky and Coppola sit down for interviews

Hollywoodnews.com: HollywoodNews.com’s Awards Season Roundup collects insights from around the Internet on films that are running in the Oscar race.

Peter Sciretta and Alex Billington sit down with Danny Boyle, director of “127 Hours.”

Yesterday appeared to be Helen Mirren day at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Also yesterday, G4’s “Attack of the Show” had Devin Faraci and CNET.com’s Caroline McCarthy discussing David Fincher’s “The Social Network.”

“Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky talks Natalie Portman, Oscar buzz, “The Wrestler” and more with Scott Feinberg.

Meanwhile, Sofia Coppola discusses the Golden Lion “Somewhere” won in Venice with Anne Thompson.

Thompson also says Alex Gibney’s “Client 9,” Davis Guggenheim’s “Waiting for ‘Superman’” and Charles Ferguson’s “Inside Job” lead the Oscar race for the documentary category.
