Jennifer Garner may discover ‘Chemistry’ with Jeremy Renner

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: “The Hurt Locker” star Jeremy Renner has the opportunity to star alongside Ben Affleck in the Boston bank-robbing thriller, “The Town,” which opens Sept. 17. Next, he’s hoping to get a chance to work with Affleck’s wife.

Jennifer Garner is in talks to join Renner for “Better Living Through Chemistry,” a dramatic thriller directed by first-time team Geoff Moore and David Posamentier, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, a small-town pharmacist (Renner) enters an affair with a trophy wife (Garner) and the two become hooked on prescription drugs. As the pills take effect, the pair begin plotting to kill the woman’s husband.

As Garner contemplates her next move, her fans will be able to catch her in Jim Field Smith’s ensemble comedy, “Butter,” as well as the “Arthur” remake with Russell Brand. Both are due out in 2011.
