Adam Lambert accused of battery

HollywoodNews.com: Adam Lambert may have run into some trouble during his trip to Miami, but the singer apparently believes that he has nothing to worry about this time.

Lambert has had a police report filed against him, accusing him of misdemeanor battery as he was allegedly in a physical altercation with a paparazzo, reports TMZ. The cameraman is reportedly claiming that the former American Idol star grabbed his backpack “where the camera was placed” and “wrestled [him] to the ground forcefully.”

However, photos of the event show the cameraman with the camera in his hand. Also, police allegedly report that the man had no “bruises or lacerations.” The matter will be investigated and a decision will be made as to whether or not the case will be pursued.

Lambert, however, didn’t appear too worried as he took to Twitter: “Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground…. It was literally harmless.”
