Jon Hamm opens up about difficult time in his life

HollywoodNews.com: Jon Hamm may seem to have it all made with his growing fame and popular role on ‘Mad Men,’ but life wasn’t always so easy for this actor as he struggled with depression in his younger years.

As Ham lost both of his parents before he was 20 years old, he struggled to get through the difficult time and “was in bad shape,” states Hollyscoop. “I did do therapy and antidepressants for a brief period, which helped me,” Hamm revealed about how he got through it all.

But all of this only worked if Hamm was able to motivate himself: “I want to get up in the morning; I don’t want to sleep until four in the afternoon. I want to get up and go do my shit and go to work.”

Luckily for fans, the actor was able to move forward and keep his life going. And now it appears he won’t stop working anytime soon.
