Jonah Hill learns who he’ll watch in “The Sitter”

By Sean O’Connell Jonah Hill just found out who he’ll be babysitting this fall.

Landry Bender, a young actress on the rise, nabbed the coveted role Blithe, the youngest child under Hill’s care in the upcoming Fox comedy, “The Sitter.” We’re most interested in this comedy because it’s being helmed by David Gordon Green, who demonstrated tremendous comedic chops directing the Seth Rogen comedy “Pineapple Express.”

“The Sitter” begins filming in Manhattan on Monday, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In the film, Hill plays a suspended college student forced to watch the kids who live next door to his single mother. With any luck, Elisabeth Shue will reprise her “Adventures in Babysitting” role for an inspired cameo.

“The Sitter” is scheduled for a July 15, 2011 release.
