Lady Gaga’s “meat” dress to be archived for future viewing
HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga and her meat dress have caused quite an uproar with PETA, and has fans either hating or loving the whole idea. After debuting it again at the MTV Video Music Awards, some have wondered how she is keeping the “meat” from rotting out and frankly, smelling.
Well, rather than tossing the thing that probably is made of the best prime-rib around, the dress is going to be preserved so that it can be viewed later. Designer Franc Fernandez told E! Online, “The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky’ and will be archived. The meat dries out, rather than rotting. It becomes jerky. But it shouldn’t be worn again.”
“I think it’s just that — it’s just the meat dress. There’s not going to be meat dresses in the future. This was made for a specific purpose. It’s what it is.”
