Official Trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” Released

By Hanako M. Ricks

HollywoodNews.com: After much speculation and anticipation, Warner Bros. rolled out the first official trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. As expected, it did not disappoint.

While the previously released trailer encompassed both films and seemed to focus on more of the action, the latest trailer focused solely on Part 1, and seemed destined to tug at heartstrings as well – showcasing a few of the most heart wrenching and emotionally charged scenes from the final book of J.K. Rowliing’s best-selling series. You can view the video below:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in two parts, with the first part hitting theaters on November 19 (in 57 days!) and the final film next summer on July 15.

That’s a wonderful trailer! Deathly Hallows Part One looks like it will be a faithful adaptation of the novel. Also, I was absolutely thrilled to see that the quotation from 1 Corinthians 15:26 “THE LAST ENEMY THAT SHALL BE DESTROYED IS DEATH” is indeed inscribed on the tomb of James and Lily Potter. (See my blog post on this for more details.) The Seven Harry Potters scene will probably be hilarious by the look of it. This film promises a great story with lots of action, lots of drama, brilliant special effects, great characterizations….what’s not to love? 🙂
