Adam Lambert thinks new “Idol” judges give the show credibility

HollywoodNews.com: Adam Lambert was rumored for a while to be considered for one of the coveted “American Idol” judge spots, but he made it very clear that he wanted to focus on his career and not on judging.

Now that the two judges have been revealed, Lambert has spoken out on how he approves of the decision. He said, “I think Steven Tyler’s obviously an icon. I think it’s really cool — it will give it some cred,” reports Flecking Records.

“I think J. Lo gives them some cred. She’s urban pop — hopefully they can find some urban pop artists.”

    Can’t believe Steven Tyler took this gig……..Steve what were you thinking? Can’t stand JLo. Will not watch because she is a judge. I would have loved to have seen Adam as a judge but he’s wise to focus on his career

    How can American Idol be credible no matter who the judges are when the best singer everon that stage did not win? Read “American Idol Vote Scam” and see how the flawed voting system and a rogue AT&T executive deprived Adam Lambert of his title. Is it fair when the most popular contestant can be out voted by a less popular contestant who has voters voting thousands of times each? If they do not change the voting I will never watch the show again.

    Thanks to American Idol for giving us Adam Lambert. As to the fate of AI now even with the new judges, I’m not so sure. Jo Lo wanting to find the new Michael jackson ? Hey, she may be up to some major frustration. Her presence does not give her powers to find one. As if the likes of MJ will now crop up just for her, responding to her broadcasts. As if she’s just shrugging off the enormity of Adam, and is in denial of who Adam is, by saying that they still have to find the likes of MJ. Hey J Lo, wake up and expand your horizons. The world does not revolve around your little finger. I don’t know that one’s head could be as swollen as one’s butt. But I take it from J Lo.
    And Kara Dioguardi was good at her job in AI, but J Lo doesn’t want competition from another judge who might be better than her. Talk of insecurity and narcissism.
