‘Batman 3’ screenplay is being rewritten

HollywoodNews.com: Hey “Batman” fans, Christopher Nolan isn’t ready with the script yet for chapter three.

No problem, the director has some time: the follow-up to “Dark Knight” doesn’t bow until July 20, 2012.

Currently, Nolan is polishing up his brother Jonathan’s first draft.

“I don’t like to talk too much about things until I’m further along with them. I’m working on the script right now. My brother Jonah has done a draft of the script and now I’m writing on it,” Nolan said at an Italian press conference.

The director had quite a year with his Leonardo DiCaprio thriller “Inception” which has made close to $800 million at the global B.O. Both Nolan and “Inception” are being buzzed about for kudos this award season.

Digital Spy had the story.
