Crystal Bowersox hears wedding bells

HollywoodNews.com: “American Idol” runner-up Crystal Bowersox is head over heels in love.

Even though she famously broke up with her boyfriend back in May, hours before her final “Idol” performance, news arrives that Bowersox is engaged to musician Brian Walker.

People had the exclusive, revealing that the couple plan to walk down the aisle next month. Though Bowersox has an 18-month old son from a previous relationship, she has never been married.

When Bowersox broke up with her beau, it was largely due to the fact that he was at odds with her fast-tracked showbiz lifestyle. She tapped into the pain from her split effectively in her last “Idol” song, a cover of Patty Griffin’s “Up to the Mountain.”
