“Lone Star” burns out before it can show its true colors

HollywoodNews.com: Fox’s new drama “Lone Star” has only premiered two episodes to some low ratings and that was enough for the studio to give it the axe.

After averaging just over 4 million viewers in the premiere, the show failed to improve the following week and fell to a mere 3.2 million viewers, reports Entertainment Weekly. The show will now be replaced by “Lie to Me,” which will start it’s third season and hopefully put Fox back on the map in this time slot.

A rep for the show stated, “We will have shot five completed episodes after the pilot, and will not complete principal photography on episode 106.”
