Josh Duhamel transfixed by ‘Transformers 3’ actress

HollywoodNews.com: Nothing spices up publicity for an upcoming tentpole than when a hot leading male star praises his co-star.

Recently, Ryan Reynolds gushed over Blake Lively’s thespian skills in “Green Lantern,” then Alexander Skarsgard has gave his thumbs up for Rihanna on “Battleship” and now Josh Duhamel has OK’ed Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s turn in “Transformers 3.”

Speaking to MTV News, Fergie’s better-half complimented Huntington-Whiteley’s acting chops: “I think she’s doing a great job,” Duhamel said. “I love her attitude. I think she’s a good actress. I think she’s perfect for the part.”

In addition Duhamel provided some insight on what we can expect in the third robot-automobile movie.

“I’ve seen about 10 minutes of it — just the stuff we shot in Chicago — and it’s pretty awesome,” says the actor.

“It’s all in Michael Bay’s head, so you never know what the film’s going to turn out like, but judging by the script and what we’ve shot, it’s, I think, every bit as good, if not better than, the first two,” continued Duhamel.

Co-star Shia LaBeouf has also been wowed by the “Transformers 3” clips he has seen.

“It’s the best movie we’ve made out of the three, by far,” LaBeouf says. “I’m super-proud of this movie, man. … It’s balls out. This is the best movie we’ve made, period.”
