Katherine Heigl found herself living out her own movie

HollywoodNews.com: When Katherine Heigl made the decision to adopt her daughter, she had no idea she would be living out a very similar situation as her most recent movie character in ‘Life as We Know It.’

Heigl’s character unexpectedly finds herself in the role of a parent as her friends pass away, while Heigl in real life found herself completing the adoption of her daughter, Naleigh, earlier than expected and just a week before filming, states People.

“Most of the time I just felt guilty that I wasn’t spending enough time with my own daughter, and I was spending too much time with the triplets [who played the baby in the film] on set,” Heigl admits about the struggle she was forced to deal with during this time.

But since then, she has devoted her time to her young daughter who is the first child for her and husband Josh Kelley.
