Lady Gaga ex-manager on early days: ‘Like Stefani, by end she was Gaga’
HollywoodNews.com: It comes as no surprise to hear that Lady Gaga always had talent.
Her first manager, Bob Leone, has been telling heart full tales about Gaga’s early days to People calling her “shy” and “prodigy-like.”
Leone found Gaga (aka Stefani Germanotta) at a New York open mic with her mother.
Says Leone, “She was painfully shy – very different from who she is now.
“She was clearly a very good songwriter and keyboard player.”
Leone managed Gaga for six months in 2006.
“Going into it, she was Stefani, and she was still writing pop music. By the end of that six-month period, she was officially Lady GaGa,” says the former manager.
Gaga is currently repped by William Morris Endeavor.
