‘Batman 3’ gets spicy, will shoot in New Orleans

HollywoodNews.com: Score another superhero film production for New Orleans.

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are planning to lense Christopher Nolan’s third “Batman” film in the Crescent City in April.

Superhero Hype had the news.

Previous “Batman” films of Nolan’s have featured a number of locations, making Chicago their primary haunt for Gotham City. “Dark Knight” for example was shot partly in Hong Kong.

Warner Bros. shot other DC comic book features in New Orleans including “Jonah Hex” and “Green Lantern.”

“Batman 3” which remains untitled is scheduled to bow in July 2012.

As an aside, it was recently revealed that the “Green Lantern” trailer would be attached to prints of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I” this November.
