James Franco more interested in school than acting
HollywoodNews.com: ‘127 Hours’ star James Franco said acting doesn’t do much for him. The actor may already be an A-list movie star but it seems life as a graduate student is where his real passion lies.
Franco, a student in fiction writing in the master of fine arts programme at US Columbia University and a film student at New York University, seems unwilling to give up the student version of himself.
The 32-year-old told British Esquire magazine: “Acting doesn’t do very much for me, I put it off for school until I went back. Or maybe I missed it and nobody believed that, not even me.”
He added: “The work of it – and I have really great teachers – that’s the stuff that adds up for me in a way that acting doesn’t.”
