Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr. get the sniffles
HollywoodNews.com: Only a superstar could stop production and that’s exactly what happened on the sets of “Sherlock Holmes 2” and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”
Turns out that Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp were respectively under the weather on the above films earlier in the week.
Both productions are shooting around London where fall temperatures have set.
A source on the Sherlock set told The Sun: “Everyone was fired up and ready to go.
“Word filtered around that Robert had a bit of a sniffle and wouldn’t be coming in. It was a bit of a shock.”
Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock” sequel stars a number of prolific British actors including Stephen Fry who will play the detective’s brother and Jared Harris, son of Richard, who will play the sleuth’s nemesis Professor Moriarty.
