Gwyneth Paltrow goes country, will sing on CMA Awards
HollywoodNews.com: Gwyneth Paltrow is going country.
The Oscar winning actress is putting on her cowgirl hat and spurs and will debut as a country singer on the 44th Annual CMA Awards this November.
Paltrow will croon the title track from her film “Country Strong” per Hollywood Reporter. Film will be bowing on Jan. 7 and she’ll be performing alongside Vince Gill. The track will drop on Oct. 26 from RCA Nashville.
Singing is nothing new for Paltrow. She actually took the mike in the 2000 film release “Duets” directed by her late father Bruce Paltrow. “Duets” focused on the niche world of karaoke singers as they embark on a road trip to a competition in Omaha, NE.
The CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
