Should Lindsay Lohan spend a year in jail?

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan could very well be sentenced to a year in jail if Judge Elden Fox deems it appropriate.

At Lindsay’s upcoming hearing, the judge could terminate her probation and send her to jail instead of allowing her to stay in rehab, states RadarOnline.com. The actress would get credit for previous time served, so it would be more likely that she would be back in jail for closer to six months.

With Judge Elden Fox refusing to meet with Lindsay’s lawyer before the hearing and requiring Lindsay to appear at the hearing, it could be a bad sign for the sentence that she may face.

Do you think Lindsay should be sentenced to a year in jail or should she be allowed to stick with rehab?

Well that will solve all her problems wont it!! Presumably a year in jail at the tax payers expense as aposed to whatever rehab time at her own expense is the right way to go. And what for, a relatively minor violation after all. The justice system should spend it’s time locking up real criminals, and leave people alone, regarless of their social standing if the charges are minor. Sentence her to the original 90 days rehab. It was the judges decision to let her out of the previous rehab stint early after all, so surely he should shoulder some of the blame when it all goes wrong. After all, he did have all the facts in front if him, not us!!!

What’s up with “liberal” Californicatia? Putting people in prison will NOT solve their addiction to drugs. Why doesn’t this jackass judge put all the alcoholics, cigarette fiends, marijuana junkies, cokeheads, prozac dolls and Ritalin suckers in prison, too? That would put about 90% of California behind bars. I suppose they would then miraculously recover from their addictions.

Jails are for violent criminals, they are not for addicts.

What are they waiting on for her to kill some inocent kid while she is stoned or high on crack. Lock the bitch up like you would if it was any other citizen. Everybody is supposed to get equal justic in the usa, but the rich gets off with everything, and even gets put in a nice place where they can suntan and swin and etc.
