Michael Douglas reportedly unlikely to need more treatment Michael Douglas has reportedly finished his eight weeks of medical treatment for throat cancer and it appears unlikely that he will have to undergo any more.

As his doctors were reportedly “very pleased” with how he was responding to the treatments, his doctors allegedly do not think that Douglas will need more, states Digital Spy. Douglas has already been given an 80% chance of surviving this difficult experience.

The actor has been spotted out when he takes his young daughter to school.

Hey, Mr. Douglas, I am so happy that you are doing well. You are my birthday twin. We were both born on September 25, 1944. I always thought that if I ever saw you (unlikely), I would send you a note or something. You have a marvelous career. My sincere congratulations. I’m a retired French teacher who is married with four children and one adorable granddaughter. My best to you, birthday twin.
