Nicole Kidman carries first official “Rabbit Hole” trailer

Hollywoodnews.com: The official trailer for John Cameron Mitchell’s “Rabbit Hole” has reached the internet this afternoon, giving interested parties their first glance at a heavy emotional drama that has been whipping up a frenzy on the fall festival circuit.
Most of the conversation has revolved around Nicole Kidman’s performance as a grieving mother dealing with the loss of a child. Aaron Eckhart reportedly has been strong in support as Kidman’s husband, though the couple both benefit from David Lindsay-Abaire’s adaptation of his own award-winning stage play.

Expect Lionsgate to mount a steady awards campaign for “Rabbit Hole” as the film rolls out. It will be in select theaters on Dec. 17, expanding well into 2011.
