Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” has a title … eliminates a villain

By Sean O’Connell Christopher Nolan has revealed the title of his third “Batman” film … and revealed a few of his cards regarding Batman’s next foe.

“It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan told Hero Complex in an exclusive interview, where he also said that the title of the anticipated sequel will be “The Dark Knight Rises.”

“We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,” Nolan said in the interview.

More great news from the interview. Nolan will not be filming in 3D (great!!) and will continue to explore IMA the way “The Dark Knight” did.

So while we do know “Inception” star Tom Hardy will be joining Nolan in the “Batman” realm, we don’t know yet what role he’ll play.

What do you think of the title? Are you sad Nolan isn’t bringing The Riddle into the fold? Let us know, and check back later for more details on “The Dark Knight Rises.”
