‘Shape’ magazine apologizes for LeAnn Rimes cover
HollywoodNews.com: Apparently ‘Shape’ magazine’s cover of LeAnn Rimes didn’t go over too well with readers which led to an apology being issued.
An email was reportedly sent out by the editor-in-chief, Valerie Latona, admitting that that cover was a “terrible mistake,” states TooFab. Latona reportedly admitted that they were not trying to glorify Rimes’ actions when she cheated on her husband, but they were just trying to show that everyone is human.
The message sent to readers also reportedly stated that the magazine is sorry that the story did not come across the way they intended.
