Danny Boyle’s graphic new film shocks UK moviegoers, woman faints

HollywoodNews.com: Paramedics had to be called to the premiere of Danny Boyle’s new movie after shocked cinema-goers threw up and fainted while watching it.

Boyle’s new movie, 127 Hours, sees James Franco take on the role of mountaineer Aron Ralston, who had to amputate his own arm after he was trapped by a boulder.

The scenes were reportedly so gory that many people started fainting soon after it started. A cinema-goer said to UK newspaper The Sun: “It was very graphic. Within minutes of the film, one woman at the back of the cinema fainted twice. Then about 20 minutes in, about 20 women all got up and walked out.”

“Some looked as white as ghosts. A man got up in the row behind me to rush out but he was sick in the aisle before he managed to get out. Paramedics were called and they had to come in at the back of the cinema to try and treat people. I’ve never seen anything like it in a cinema before. The film was really gory, it was really shocking people.”
