Zach Galifianakis lights up California pot debate
HollywoodNews.com: “Due Date” star Zach Galifianakis had a point to make about the upcoming legalization of pot on “Real Time With Bill Maher” Friday.
In expressing his opinion on the upcoming vote in California, Galifianakis toked up a joint on the HBO political talk show which airs live on the east coast.
Taking a joint out of his blazer pocket, Galifianakis said, “It’s a tricky thing politically to jump on that bandwagon (and vote for the legalization of pot) because I think that maybe people still see it as taboo.”
Toking away, Galifianakis offered the joint to right wing news reporter Margaret Hoover, another panelist, who verified it was, indeed, weed.
Galifianakis continued smoking during the pot debate on “Real Time.” However, he got a rise from the audience by knocking on the stoner stereotype, joking, “Oh my God, look at those dragons!”
