Johnny Depp may be teaching ‘Snow White’ how to fight
HollywoodNews.com: Johnny Depp is rumored to be attached to a slanted take on the “Snow White” fairy tale.
He will apparently be headlining “ Snow White and The Huntsman.”
In the film, Depp will play the Huntsman who lets Snow White go instead of killing her. He then teaches the damsel how to defeat her evil stepmother.
The Wrap and Digital Spy had the news.
Depp is currently reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”
Apparently, “Inception” star Tom Hardy was linked to “Snow White” and passed due to his role in the upcoming “Dark Knight Rises.”
Charlize Theron may be stepping into “Snow White” as well but as the evil queen.
The project is currently fast tracked at Universal and will unspool on December 21, 2012.
