Jennifer Love Hewitt developing laughs

HollywoodNews.com: Jennifer Love Hewitt is busying herself as of late with a number of TV productions.

The “Ghost Whisperer” actress through her Fedora Films company is developing a number of comedies at ABC and Fox as well as a series take on her Lifetime TV film “The Client List.”

Variety had the news. Of note:

“Bad Taste in Men” -– Set up at ABC and written by Austin Weinberg. The sitcom focuses on a Chicago woman’s quest for Mr. Right.

“The Client List” — will take a fresh look at Hewitt’s character who is a Texas housewife turned hooker. The TV film delivered Lifetime it’s second highest audience for an original feature this year. Jordan Budde (“90210”) is on tap to write. The concept was originally hatched from a Texas Monthly article.

Untitled comedy –- at Fox, written by Tiffany Paulson. A romantic comedy centering on a career-driven femme.

Next up for Hewitt is the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie “The Lost Valentine” opposite Betty White which will air on CBS in 2011. The actress recently published a book, “The Day I Shot Cupid.”
