Hans Zimmer at the Hollywood Awards Gala

HollywoodNews.com: Composer Hans Zimmer received an Oscar for his score for “The Lion King,” as well as 7 other Oscar nominations. He has composed the music for over 100 films among them “Rain Man,” “Gladiator,” the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” series, “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight” to name a few. Most recently he composed the scores for “Inception,” his 3rd collaboration with director Christopher Nolan starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and “Sherlock Holmes” directed by Guy Ritchie, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, as well as scores for “It’s Complicated,” “Angels & Demons,” and “Frost/Nixon” among many other films.
