Jay-Z: “Maybe in eight years, I’ll be the president”

HollywoodNews.com: US rapper Jay-Z has said he might run for US president – but not for another eight years.

The husband of pop sensation Beyoncé was discussing the American midterm elections and Obama’s time in office so far when he told BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat he would like to be president.

He said: “Give me a chance, maybe in eight years, I’ll be the president.”

The 40-year-old shared his opinions about current president Obama’s reign. He said: “In order to judge someone, you have to judge what they inherit, he inherited the worst economy, war, just a horrible time in American history. So if we think he can solve that, I mean, we don’t think he’s God, do we.”

The hip-hop star added: “He’s a human being, he’s going to need time to figure that out but it may be a good thing. In order to get to that sort of success and that dream, you have to go through some peaks and valleys – it’s been two years.”

What makes Jay-Z thinks he is qualified to run for Pres. How about running for state rep or senate first. Keep Dreaming.
