HollywoodNews.com: “Iron Man 2” is Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios’ sequel to “Iron Man,” which is the big screen adaptation of Marvel’s legendary superhero Tony Stark/Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who vows to protect the world as Iron Man. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, and Don Cheadle.
Visual Effects Supervisor Janek Sirrs has had a hand in the visual effects for movies including “I Am Legend,” “Batman Begins,” “The Matrix,” and “The Big Lebowksi,” among many others, and has had the opportunity to work with directors as varied as Christopher Nolan, Jon Favreau, John Woo, Peter Weir, Taylor Hackford and Joel Coen. Janek won an Academy Award and a BAFTA in 1999 for his work on “The Matrix.”
