The newly married couple made their first red carpet appearance at the MTV European Music Awards, states RadarOnline.com. The event took place in Madrid, Spain where Perry was set to perform.
The event is an important one for the pop star as she has hosted it the last two years, but this year Eva Longoria was taking over.
