Robert Downey Jr. prepared to win Oscar when others are done

HollywoodNews.com: Robert Downey Jr. isn’t worried about his previous Oscar losses because he has a long-term plan that is bound to be successful if he just sticks around long enough.

Downey Jr. believes that if he is in the business long enough, he’ll have to get an Oscar because they will eventually run out of people to award them to, reports Digital Spy.

“And I’m probably going to win it one year when someone else deserves to win it. Why? Because it’s my time. And that’s the way s**t works around here,” the actor joked.

However, at this point, he isn’t really focused on winning like he used to be in the past. “What a pitiful existence,” Downey Jr. says about putting too much importance on an award.

Do you think Robert Downey Jr. will win an Oscar at some point?
