Taylor Momsen feels she was forced to work at a young age

HollywoodNews.com: Taylor Momsen has worn, done and said some controversial things lately, most of which she kind of blames on her parents and her upbringing.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ star thinks she behaves the way she does because her parents signed her up with Ford to be a model at the age of two, states Hollyscoop. “No two-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice,” Momsen complains.

The actress and rocker further claims that she never had the chance at having a “real life” as she was “working constantly” as a child.

Do you think a childhood like this has any role in the way she behaves and dresses now?

Of course, noone who is doing movies by the age of two is going to turn out completely normal.

she is just trying to validate her otherwise mediocre music, by ascribing it as being the product of emotional torment, which it would have to be to play something so morose (think Kurt Cobain); actually, that’s not the case at all, it’s pretty pedrestian, pop, moreoever. Anyways, she strikes me as being some prentious wanna-be constantly attributing her behavior to the influence of others, as though she has no control, which admittedly she didn’t in her early years, but now she’s 17; time to grow up. Be thankful for your parents’ belief in you, despite it having been wrong-sighted, in my opinion.
