Can “Harry Potter” win a Best Picture Oscar? – Awards Season Roundup

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: HollywoodNews.com’s Awards Season Roundup collects insights from around the Internet on films that are running in the Oscar race.

Matt Damon touches briefly on “True Grit” while speaking with EW.com about Water.org.

James L. Brooks lost his appeal to the MPAA’s Classification and Rating Appeals Board, so his comedy “How Do You Know” will hit theaters on Dec. 17 with an R rating.

Anthony D’Alessandro links Oscar odds to box office receipts.

Scott Feinberg puts his money down on “The Social Network.”

And finally, AFI Fest announced its winners.
