Darren Aronofsky appeases fanboys with ‘Wolverine 2’ details
HollywoodNews.com: Darren Aronofsky revealed more details about his directorial involvement with Fox’s reboot of the “X-Men” character Wolverine on the big screen.
The film which stars Hugh Jackman won’t be a sequel to the 2009 film rather a tale unto itself. Script is being penned by Oscar-winning scribe Christopher McQuarrie. The film will be simply titled “The Wolverine.”
In the film, Logan aka Wolverine, gets embroiled in a love triangle with a Japanese woman. Hearts get broken and bones to, as the metal-clawed mutant gets ticked off with the chick’s father and brothers – also skilled in the martial arts.
Aronofsky’s “Black Swan” is receiving some major Oscar buzz this season for best picture, actress (Natalie Portman) and director.
