Lindsay Lohan dropped from Linda Lovelace biopic

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Lindsay Lohan will “Deep Throat” no longer.

The troubled starlet has been dropped from “Inferno,” the planned biopic of adult film star Linda Lovelace. The director confirmed to EW.com that he plans to recast the role.

“We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support … Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward,” director Matthew Wilder told E! Online.

Lohan continues to receive treatment for addiction at a sober house affiliated with the Betty Ford Clinic. A comeback isn’t out of the question, but news like this makes us believe it will be a long, long time before we see Lohan in a legitimate film any time soon.
